Users set their gender once with /gender. The response is ephemeral, completely private. The bot remembers it for every future interaction.

Auto-resolved, zero effort

Your bot looks up both users' genders and requests the right pairing from the API. Solo actions like /cry use the user's own gender. When someone hits the action back button, the pairing flips: lu (girl) hugging shiro (boy) → fm, shiro hits Hug Back → mf.
